Devon Callahan resides in the State of TX, though he was raised in Washington DC. This is a writer that's not afraid of change. Many people say that his writing is the truth. He started writing novels several years ago. He wanted to get the word out there to let people know what his writing was about, so he exposed himself by writing a poetry book "Nappy is Good" that very much reflected occurences in his own life. He did poetry slams in the Baltimore lounges to increase awareness.

After establishing himself, Devon came out with his debut novel; Fire and Rain, which reflects attitude and determination; people can not get enough of the main character (Skylar) Devon created. This is but a taste of what Devon can do as a writer. He creates the kinds of characters you dream about. The writer assures that this is only the beginning. Current he is working on a 3-part crime series. Look for the first book "202" in the future.

Devon does more than write books and poetry, he also writes for the DELMAVA entrepenuer magazine entitled "The Rock E-News Mag." When he's not writing, he's teaching and making contacts. He has started a literary company to help promote and guide aspiring writers.
